Our exciting opportunity:
We are looking for a Pre-sales and Solution Manager who join a team of Sales Support people and is responsible to boost our Device & Network Testing (DNT) Service Area to new unprecedent levels. DNT Services are key to accelerate the global market access of new devices and to make sure that those devices and their corresponding applications works best with Ericsson Ecosystem.
Operator’s network modernization and optimization will be driven by the necessity to withstand the onslaught of data traffic driven by smart phones and the avalanche of new IoT devices, drones connected vehicles etc boasting similar functionality. Our Device & Network Testing offering provides the necessary set of tools in the correct sequence to achieve readiness for device launches and to manage user experience after the launch best. We provide services to operators, device vendors, application developers and service providers to establish pre and post device launch processes for managing the impact of new devices and their corresponding applications on their wireless networks.
This includes our recently launched “Ericsson Device Hub” initiative that is a unique offering for our customers to find appropriate devices with the right specifications and regulatory approvals for their solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Take the lead and focus in securing deals in footprint & strategic areas, work with Sales team to develop and build value argumentation for Device & Network Testing offerings- Act as Subject Matter Expert in specific technologies, products and services under the umbrella of DNT solutions, support Sales Core team in specific technical issues
- Secure early involvement with customers and investigate and validate multiple options to meet their requirements
- Create a strategy for selected deals into the Region and propose solutions covering business requirements and present to Regions and Customers
- Guide and coach others to build business knowledge within assigned area
Educational qualifications
Engineer or Masters in Science- MBA preferred
Professional experience
5+ years, Sales and Solution Management experience on the area of Device Testing- External company experience is a plus
- Sales/business development experience and proven sales acumen
- Experience in other similar senior roles
