Chef de Partie – main responsibility is to amaze customers with outstanding cooking following chef’s recipes and directions. Your work as Chef de Partie will be extremely important for customer satisfaction and building customer loyalty.
What are your Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the specialty section
- Planning, assisting, creating and executing menu items, recipes and developing dishes
- Collaborating with the rest of the restaurant team to ensure high-quality food and service
- Ensure adequacy of supplies at all times
- Manage ingredients that should be frequently available on a daily basis
- Follow the directions of the sous chef
- Suggest new ways of presentation of dishes
- Suggest or come up with procedures for optimizing cooking process
- Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards
- Handles customer feedback or comments and ensure in improving food preparation methods to meet customer satisfaction
What are the Job Qualifications:
- College Graduate or a diploma preferably a Culinary Arts, Restaurant Management or related field
- Minimum 3 years of culinary experience
- Culinary training certification is a plus
- Proven experience in a Chef de Partie role
- Exceptional proven ability of kitchen operations
- Knowledgeable in food costing
- Knowledge of the best and latest cooking practices
- Able to maintain cost and quality standards
- Use a variety of excellent cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, tools and processes
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Great time management skills
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Amenable working on weekends and holidays
- Willing to undergo training immediately
- Willing to work in Makati
- Can start immediately
